Nicole Noakes and David Godfrey live in Shark Bay, Western Australia - check it out on Google maps at maps.google.com.  Use it to zoom down pretty close and you'll get a good idea of why I love this place so much.  Flying over the bay gives you a real feel of just how tiny you are because you can actually see whole peninsulas and then relate that back to the size of Shark Bay as a whole and how it then compares to Australia.

Nicole works for the Department of Environment and Conservation as a ...  hmmm well my title is: Peron Captive Breeding Centre Coordinator (couldn't call me a manager because they'd have to pay me more even though that's what I do).  I run a captive breeding centre for endangered species; specifically Banded hare-wallabies, Mala and Bilbies.  I'll have to find the link for the Shark Bay DEC website and insert it here.

I met David following a shopping trip to Geraldton (400km south of here, and the only place within 4 hours drive with a real Target store).  I was stocking up on housewares as my housemate was moving on to a new job.  Needless to say being high on credit card fumes resulted in me being taken advantage......just kidding....we met at Batavia Coast Dive Academy in Gero (it's all Jenny's fault!!) on the 26th of August 2006 and have been together ever since.

He moved up here and started a business - Shark Bay Technical Services sbts.terapad.com which covers marine and auto electrical, SCUBA hires and tank fills, VHF/UHF/marine radio, computer everything, software and electronics design and construction.  And more.  He's a genuine geek and I love him to death.  Wonders never cease.
